Ohio Statehouse Visit

On Tuesday, March 20, 2018, the students were given a tour of the Statehouse and they were also able to visit the Statehouse Museum.  Our students did a great job in asking many great questions.  They learn a lot about the Statehouse building and U.S. and Ohio history.  Unfortunately, we were not able to meet with either Senior Legislative Aides of Senator Kunze or Senator Jordan office however the legislative aides from both offices came and spoke with our students.  The students did a great job in explaining the Robotics competition and how their robots worked.  Both aides were impressed with our students.

After meeting with the legislative aides, we were able to meet with State Representative David Leland.   Mr. Serif and the Robotics team were given a Proclamation Letter from State Representative David Leland and signed by the Ohio House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger.  State Representative Leland also gave each one of us a packet of information and an Ohio pin.
Overall, the students had a great time.
