Our school choice week parent breakfast was a terrific success! This event commemorates National School Choice Week 2017, which is America’s largest annual celebration of opportunity in education. HSA Columbus Middle School is only one of more than 13,000 schools nationwide holding events during National School Choice Week, which is nonpartisan and nonpolitical. This breakfast featured a student performance from our choir, including a song written by our own Mr. Spottswood!
Our guest speaker Erin Matteo from the Columbus Leukemia and Lymphoma Society talked about the importance of choice in both schools and our donations to great causes. Two of our robotics students received medals from their 2016 world robotics competition presented by Mr. Baructu! We would like to thank all of the parents for attending and thank you to the staff for their hard work! A very special thanks to Mrs. Seeley, without her this breakfast would not be possible!
