Dear Horizon Families,
Our school is full of a diverse group of people, all of whom now call Ohio “home”. CYSP students and mentors had a wonderful time learning about our beautiful state and its rich history this weekend at the Ohio History Museum. With ample time to walk throughout the museum, students explored many of the exhibits including walking through a 1950’s style home, learning about native Ohio animals and fauna, as well as gallery full of African- American art. Students also had a chance to discover more about the Native Americans as part of the exhibit. We ended with a private assembly where students had a chance to see real and replica items from the Natives as far back as 15000 BC. We are delighted that our students and mentors learned so much from this trip and had an amazing time.
